OGC’s Juniors have excelled themselves this month in both team and individual competitions

In the Olton Boys’ Open in July with a nett score of 58 Armaan Basra qualified for the Finals of the Justin Rose Daily Telegraph Tournament at Walton Heath GC. In recognition the 6 best nett scores in the country played 2 rounds of golf over 2 days followed by a presentation ceremony with Justin Rose. Over a much-shortened season we played Central Warwickshire League Matches coming 2^nd out of the 8 clubs entered.

On Sunday 10^th Oct, Olton's Juniors, played in the Warwickshire Junior Champion Club competition at Ladbroke Park. Olton's  team for the day was Molly Moffatt, Will Raybone, and Jack Playdon. The best 2 Stableford scores to count. Molly had the best individual score with 38 points, Will 34 and Jack 31 to win by 12 points from the nearest club. The winning club Olton Golf Club, will represent Warwickshire in the England Champion Golf final in 2022 over 2 days

Sam Easterbrook has continued his fantastic form this year winning the Scottish boys Championship and playing for Warwickshire. He has just been rewarded with a place in the England Squad for 2022
