Olton Ladies complete the Double
On Saturday 23rd September, four of our Olton Ladies playing at Shirley, beat Ladbrook in the final of the Warwickshire 4somes Knock Out.
Not satisfied with that success, on Monday 25th they picked up another challenge. The final of the Warwickshire League was played at Handsworth when a team of seven Olton Ladies faced last year's winners Kenilworth.
Olton had a great win beating Kenilworth 4-3, tense, exciting with the winning putt on the 18th green of the last game.

The Club is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Roger Cupit who passed away peacefully at Solihull Hospital on Saturday 26 August and extends its deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
The family have invited friends to join them for a memorial service on Wednesday 13th September 2017 at 2 pm at Solihull School Chapel, Warwick Road, B91 3DJ and afterwards at the Old Silhillians Sporting Venue, Warwick Road, Knowle, Solihull, B93 9LW.
They request that bright clothes be worn.
No flowers please. If desired, donations to The British Lung Foundation - via William H Painter Funeral Directors, 192 Robin Hood Lane, Hall Green, Birmingham B28 0LG.
Due to the logistics of School and the extremely limited parking during term time there will be a park and ride service from the Old Silhillians car park between 12.30 - 1.30 and obviously a return when the service has finished. Please make use of this facility.
Please note there will be a Book of Condolences at both venues, the family would be grateful if you would take a minute to sign one or share a note/memory.
