The Club is saddened to announce the death of former Member and Bridge player for Olton Golf Club, Claude Weale on 4^th September, aged 86.

The funeral will take place at Robin Hood Crematorium on Tuesday 24^th September at 2pm and then afterwards at West Midlands Bridge Club, Marion Murtagh House, 909 Warwick Road, Solihull B91 3EP

The Club extends its deepest sympathy to his four daughters, family and friends

 I'm delighted to advise Members that Owain-House Manager played in The Golf Stewards event at Blackwell.  Fab Trophy!

The Presidents Salver is the best aggregate score of the 2  Rounds of the Birkett Barker Trophy & the 2 Rounds of the Birkett Barker Shield...4 rounds in all.

Phil Haine is the winner with a score of 286 winning by 2 shots...many congratulations

 A field of 53 played out for the 'Shield'

2 rounds of golf & only 2 rounds under par.

The course was in fabulous condition and the Greens in particular proved a handful.

Many congratulations to Neil Moorcroft who was the overall winner with a score of 142.
