On Monday 19th December some 16 members of the Working Party competed in their Christmas Golf Tournament, playing with only 4 clubs! At the conclusion three people tied with a very creditable 33 points and John O’Sullivan was declared the winner on a count back. Chris Low was second (playing off a much lower handicap than most of the field), and Bruce Wilson was third. The group then enjoyed a convivial lunch and looked forward to the next event, the Bill Danter Salver, to be held in the Spring.
OGC President Dennis Pick was in attendance to present to present the prizes, and Chairman of Greens, George Kennedy, also joined the group for lunch. (John Molesworth, when he saw that a "Kennedy" would be in attendance, rather hoped it would be Christina!).
