The Senior's Annual Medal was played on Monday 13th June, on an unusually chilly day, with sunshine emerging every now and again. Following a blustery and wet week-end, the conditions were favourable, with some of the recent sting taken out of the greens. However, the scoring was not in keeping with the easier course, and early scores were mainly in the 70's.

In the eventual 3rd place, Mike Symons on 72, was the clubhouse leader for some time, alongside some 4 others also on 72 (Messrs Whitfield, Pegg, Gay and Warren). Bob Young, playing among the later starters, improved with a better 72, to emerge in 2nd place, but his playing partner, Frank Lambert, took the honours as the runaway Winner with a very creditable 69,   

Congratulations to Frank, who will receive his prize at the Senior Awards Day in October, and better luck next time to Bob and Mike!
