The Ladies at Olton Golf Club are well-integrated in the Club.  New Lady Members are now fully accredited members with voting rights at the AGM.  Currently we have Ladies who are members of the General Committee, the Greens, Handicap, House and Social Committees. Additionally, the Ladies section has its own Committee where we are able to decide on matters related to the running of our own events.

There is a policy of welcoming new members by helping them to understand the running of Club competitions, gaining a handicap if they do not have one and encouraging them to join in the many social events and mixed golf opportunities.  Ladies' competitions are played on Wednesdays and Sundays and, with the new EWGA regulations, Ladies can choose which day they wish to play their competitions.  The  Ladies' section run 4 teams: the Scratch League, a League team under the auspices of the Warwickshire Ladies Golf Association, an 'A' Team and a 'B' Team.  All these teams provide match play competition for low and high handicap players, playing at local clubs with a convivial meal at the end of each match.  We also organise several less formal competitions during the year where members can meet and enjoy playing different formats over 9 holes.

The Golf Professional, Charles Haynes, is happy to offer individual golf lessons and he also runs popular group lessons for Ladies on Friday mornings.
