The weather was magnificent, if anything too warm. Seventeen players all finished the thirty-six holes before the rains came down although the last few players could hear the rumblings of distant thunder. The pin positions were challenging to say the least but the course was in tiptop condition! Thanks are due to Mark Smith and his team for all their hard work.
We are grateful to Cynthia Parker for working out the results and thanks are also due to Helen Baker, Ruth Hall and Sylvia Walker who acted as markers in view of last minute call offs.
